Hi All,
We're holding our first open

astronomy night this Friday 30th March on the school oval. Students, parents and friends come along and view the night sky through telescopes

provided by amateure astronomers who willingly give up their time to attend. We've held a couple of events each year since 2009 and they have been well attended. We are setting up from 7pm and the students have been asked to arrive from 7:30pm onward.
We generally conclude about 9pm. Often the astronomers will stay a little longer.
Weather

permitting of course. Watch this space for cancellation notice. The final decision will be made around 5:30pm.
Enter via the gate at the rouind-about on Barker Street opposite the entrance to Prince of Wales Hospital. Follow the signs on entry.
Put a post on the forum if you intend on coming, let us know what scope/scopes you'll bring. See you there.
