Kelpie fur as habitat for White-eared Honeyeater

The White-eared Honeyeaters that have just raised chicks in our front yard have started building a new nest now that their first clutch are fledged. And the best nesting material, the fur of our chocolate kelpie, Max. When we noticed this, we combed Max and put the fur near where they were building their nest to make it easier for dog and birds, but before long they'd used it and were back on the dog again. He didn't seem to mind.

Photos with Canon 500D and 100-400mmL
