New Moon Observing nights at Blackbutt Range 2-9-11

Ok-yes-I know that weekend is not a new moon weekend,But as I write this,it is absolutely bucketing down.So may be next weekend will be clear.

I have a few people ask me if I would hold a observing night here on the Blackbutt Range again-have not any successful weekends this year.So will put this up for 2/3-9-2011,Friday and Saturday night.I'll do a camp oven roast meal and plum pudding ($20 covers meal and electricity and insurance etc),if there is enough people. There has been some interesting wildlife and birds about so would suit general interest photography as well as astronomy.

PM if interested-Cheers Chris
