Sun image that didn't cut it.....

As I mentioned earlier, the image I took on May 7th of ol' Sol was probably the highest res H-alpha image I have taken to date.

I also gave it the "negative" treatment.....but DM didn't like it as much as the original (in this year's CWAS comp)

Anway, in High Def glory, here is that version

Hi Peter

It looks great to me! I like the negative tweak as it helps me see more details than one image alone....if you could only use one I would go with 'normal' view.

Thanks Matt, I must admit to only liking negative versions if the res is good.
Filaments look rather like clouds, and the surface looks very "busy" .... otherwise both end up looking like mashed spuds

Not a big fan of the neg look, but the detail is certainly enhanced.
