A colorful Veil in space

Hello guys,

after a few weeks of waiting here's a new photo that I want to share with you. This is a small part of the Veil Nebula (NGC 6992), I had already presented in luminance alone. I managed to shot colors some days ago:

This is a beautiful image Leo! You've achieved some wonderfully rich colour. I like it a lot!

I do notice in the the hi-res version though that your stars are a little asymmetric. A guiding issue?

This nebula is a really impressive sight when done well like this .

I agree with Marcus but rather I am getting the impression that you have used the minimum filter on teh stars and it has imparted a slight skewed diamond shape to them, it's not bad at all but I did notice it.

For the star: you are right but depends from miscollimation of primary mirror, i think now its fixed .
The larger version is the 100% resolution version (0.76"/pixel) ... each problems pop out so fast...
