You really are churning out some nice images, Doug. Keep them coming as they are off the well trodden path and an inspiration.

The Hi res version has all the goods Doug!
Lots of faint subtle emission and the fainter stars are lovely pin pricks...
Well processed and this will look great with colour added...

Thanks fellas. Should have been a bit more exposure but it clouded up and now is raining cats and dogs so nothing for a while until the weather clears. I was probably very lucky to get this much. Thank God daylight saving has ended.

Yep, another beautie for sure Doug. Thanks for sharing.
Is that the (a?) Wolfe Rayett neb on the left I seem to recognise?

I believe the nebula on the left to be NGC3199.

Nice field that Doug and it looks fab in Ha only

You got the whole loop of NGC 3199 - nice

Funnily enough I was considering doing a shot of this area early on Friday evening before starting on the Fighting Dragons, just while I waited for the target to rise and mirrors to reach equilibrium

Mike

Thanks Mike. Lots of small HII areas around to concentrate on which are rarely imaged. My new Tak scope should arrive this week and at 900mm focal length should give me that bit more mag to image these areas.
