A quick Lagoon
Last night was quite good here, probably the last one for ages looking at the Wx maps. This consist of 12 x 480 at 800iso cooled 40D. A little bit of PS and not much else. I still reckon this looks like a head that has been removed from a body.

Nice image Pete. A link to a larger version would be good. Never heard about the head before but I think I can see it now. Plenty of blood around.

Overall a very nice image but I think the background is a tad black and that is losing you the soft nebulous edges that surround the main nebula. Perhaps slightly black clipped?

Thanks all, yes I agree Greg, as I said it was only a quickie, needs a lot of work on it. I think the data is there though.
