Keep looking down – backyard macros

Hello,

With astronomy out of the question due to persistent and continuous cloud cover, what is a man supposed to do?

Clouds to right of me,
Clouds to left of me,
Clouds all above me
Rain and thunder surround me

Mine is not to reason why
Mine is to “click” and try
Canon body to right of me,
Canon lens to left of me,
Canon 580EXII in front of me

These are some backyard macros from the last couple of days, dodging the showers!

Cheers

Dennis

Pretty strong banding on the dragon Dennis, is it breeding season for them already?

Time flies...

The other shots are pretty cool as well, thanks for sharing them.

I love those shots, but I'd rather butterflies than flies!
I had a strange one when I was experimenting with a point and shoot camera down my scope ep
This is the result
The leaf was about 200 yards away
