New Accesory Dealer Online/Melbourne

Hi all, just a message to say that I have found out there is a new accesory dealer opening up online in melbourne.

They are going to be stocking GSO, UO and other good brands.

Ill keep you all updated with information as I find out more myself. Ill get the name for the place ASAP and you can check their website out. Apparently the prices are great....but we'll see!

Sounds too good too be true....

Do you know if they are going to sell scopes or just accessories?

Might bugger up my plans.

That will be a welcome change if his prices are indeed cheaper than the retail competition.
I have to wonder how a couple of the other online shops survive when there prices are actually more expensive than a standard retail shop.
I thought buying online was suppose to be cheaper due to lower rents and expenses.

It is if you Go abroad at least.

I think a lot of the above is there own doing by the high prices charged.
There driving more and more people off shore for products.
There are other dealers who are a little more realistic in there pricing and from there tunover appear to be doing O.K.

I buy most of my products from over seas and not just the US either. I have nothing against making profits as I am in business myself but there is a fair limit . There are a few dealers that are just pirates and pray on the unknowing beginners .

You only have to ask the question in forum as to how many members have purchesed over seas and why.

I would have to agree with Mark, If you own a shop or whatever you do to make a living ofcourse you must make a profit,But there is profit and just rip off.

My Green Laser Pointers Sell for $110 at @5mw, Leadlight the best around.

My 10mw sell for $135 not some stupid price as all it is quite easy to do and no point rushing the job.

This is just to give you an idea on prices, Have a look around see what i mean.

I will have to say i will never shop local again.

Well that is my 2cents worth or is that 5cents

Oh well we can consider ourselves lucky in today's market.
As 20 years ago all optical stuff was very expensive indeed.

I do buy from overseas and local when i think the cost will not be much diffrent.

It pays to shop around. Everyone has a choice.

As far as i know you do not have a warranty on Tele Vue items purchased overseas. Correct me if I'm wrong

Best.

Thanks Mike, but if it's only an extra $10 I'd like the 10mW version Graeme was talking about (especially as most 5mW GLPs are actually between 1.5 and 4mW).

Still the question remains: What is the IP address for this new mystery dealer in Melbourne?
