Lagoon from Friday night.

Hi,

I took 5x4 minute Luminance and 5x2 minute RGB through W/O Flt 110 using a QHY-9 cooled to minus 20. Guided using PHD and Stacked DSS.

I have processed the luminance image seperately to the RGB and then I stacked the RGB image over the Luminance channel (manually moving till they fitted) and set it as a Luminosity and then changed the opacity level to what I thought showed a balance between front and back. I then did some other processing and flattened all at the end.

I always remember when I thought I had imaging using a DSLR undercontrol a friend said to me why the hell are you doing that and I had been making it so much harder for myself. As you read this you may be thinking the same thing.

Any advice welcome.

Mark

You know, I didn't even ask you what you were imaging that night. How rude of me. Sorry.
It's a lovely image. Especially given the amount of exposure time.
