Bud Quinn - Horsehead

Another beauty by Bud Quinn

Hello, my friends,

Finally got some decent color to add to my previous HA of these objects. And, actually, I think the LRGB could have stood very well on its own.

Medium size:

Larger size:

http://tinyurl.com/78z39

Combination of HA and LRGB.

Telescope: Televue NP101

Camera: SXV-M25C and 10mm ha filter

Ha was 7pics@20min

LRGB was 16Pics@10min

Acquired in AstroArt 3.0

Processed in ImagesPlus and PSCS2 and Noel Carboni's Astronomy Tools.

Comments are always appreciated,

Yes great images.
Interesting to see both SBIG and Starlight Xpress with the single shot colour cameras, the ease of DSLRs with the sensitivity of dedicated astro imaging chips with thermoelectric cooling
