Nice image Anthony. I tried Saturn last night but the seeing was a little ratty, so I did not bother getting up this morning. Was hoping the seeing would it was that type that one second it is superb and the next it is terrible. Medium boundary interaction with the middle layers and the Jet. Plenty of time yet though.

Hi Bird,
This looks great. Looks like you are already capturing more detail than before. Your Saturn pick is a Beauty too.
Cheers,
Duncan

I read that early this morning. Certainly interesting but of course windows based capture programs would have to institute them other than Torsten.

It will certainly mean increasing the FPS without losing the histogram values.

Excellent work there Bird,

Beginning to run out of superlatives, amazing depth of detail, lovely job with the colour and great processing.

Regards
Trevor

Tonight will be different for Australia...

After seeing your spectactular images I am gnawing at the bit for a Flea 3. But first I must see if AstroII DC will support it.

You must have done something to annoy God last night because he called in the jet stream today to rock your boat.

I'm with Paul H.. If the seeing is ratty there is no way I'm getting up early the next morning.

And one final question if you have a moment... You chose the Flea3 with the smallest pixel size (about the same as the DMK). Can you elaborate on that choice?

Dave

Dave, the seeing was awful this morning, as you can see from that chart there is rain coming, predicted to be here in a few hours and it's normal to have unstable air ahead of it.

I chose the flea3 simply because of its high sensitivity. See post #3687650 in this thread:
