HEQ5 Pro reticle LED too bright

Has anybody come up with a fix for controlling the way-too-bright LED in the HEQ5 polarscope?

Hi
There is a thread on this topic here.

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ght=polarscope

I ended up using it (with some success) leaving the power off and holding a red torch just off to one side of the front of the polarscope(not pointing straight down)
