Compact Flash file recovery

Folks,
I'm after a program that will recover files on a CF card that were deleted in-camera before downloading the card to the PC. Of course, I'm after something that's free or a working trial, as this is something I just need this once. I've downloaded and tried a couple of "Freeware" ones, but they require you to pay up before they will actually recover anything.
Can anyone suggest such an app?

I don't know of any personally but I can help with your search if you type open source instead of freeware you might come across something of use open source is always free and sometimes free does not mean free

Search through dpastern's posts. He mentioned one a couple of months ago. I can't remember what is was called, though.

Providing the card has not been used since the erasure recovery should be possible. I would have done it using an old DOS version of Norton or something similar. However I found a program some time ago called "Recuva" which should do the job. If you can't find it on the web I have a copy.
