Smile 47 Tuc from October

G'day all,

The weekend before my wedding in October last year I spent at Astro Camp. Got lots of good shots that weekend, Tuc 47, Horsehad & Flame, Fornax galaxy cluster. I don't think I have posted any of them here, I certainly hadn't processed 47 Tuc and still haven't processed Horsehead & Flame. Only just nw getting around to making the time for it.

I quite like this shot of 47 Tuc. I think some people will have something to say about the colour, but for now I don't mind it how it is. The sharpness is good, although I did debate cecreasing the curves slightly to hide the fainter background stars that look more like noise.

I like that it has a couple of other clusters visible in the bottom right and that they have some colour variation. I haven't tried to particularly bring them out in the processing, I could probably make them better if I did.

Comments and suggestions on improvements welcome.

Roger.

Great image Roger.

A slight red hue and minimal bits of noise, other than that a great image!

Nice tight image Roger, A tight core on this little tacker. Hard always to get the core just right but you have done a nice job on this one.
Well done.

It is a tricky one, I'm surprised that even in 60 seconds the centre was saturated. Thanks
