It is indeed. Makes the shuttle look overweight.

"The launch team has extend the T-4 minute built-in hold further, now bringing the possible liftoff time to 9:24 a.m. EDT.

Weather continues to be the issue of the day, and the launch window extends until noon.

During this hold, the launch team will receive weather verification, the Launch Authority Team will be polled for a "go" or "no-go" for launch, and the launch test director will conduct the final launch status verification."

Meaning 11:30pm (12:30am DST) at the earliest.

Still ill stick around for now and hope.

You guys are crazy. The Shuttle is the sexiest craft ever built.

To think it was designed and built in the 70s.

I miss it already.

Regards,
Humayun

I was staying at my cousins house near London, he lived under the flight path to Heathrow.
Whenever the Concorde flew over it was like WOW.
( he also lived within sight of the Battersea Power Station, another WOW object)

They are all pretty spectacular at launch. Especially at night.

Looking at this as the next 'advancement' we are a loooong way from the Star Trek style shuttle up to the Enterprise.

hate to see nasa getting a kid ready for school of a morning

snag a tarp over the probe
let a ship into a no go zone
then there is talk of one of their weather warning aircraft running out of fuel and having to return to base

now it will probably be another hour before launch

fair dinkum !

geoff
