M-42 With 350D

I shot This Friady night. JPG-ISO800-203 secs,800X200 reflector on EQ6 Mount.Shot was guided with 70mm scope and 2X barlow and Guiding eyepeice.Some processing In CS3. Camera had noise reduction on. Tony

That’s a fine image Tony. I guess your next project will be to grab some shorter exposures of the core, so you can combine them to prevent the core being burned out.

yes that would be good Idea Paste an Over exposed and under Exposed with an Unsharp Mask.

Not a bad effort... keep at it, and collect some 10~15 sec subs to tame down the core and you'll be on your way to a great image
