This rather friendly fly posed for me while I was chasing other critters. It seemed rude not to oblige him/her

Canon 40D, 100mm Macro, 580exII flash with home-made diffuser (plastic bottle and paper towel wrok wonders).

I've only got the 50mm F/2.5 macro, and would dearly love the 100mm F/2.8!

I, too, would love to see your home made diffuser.
