Talking Wild Kingdom in my own Backyard!

Standing on the back deck of our house at Wynnum in Brisbane...when what should I spot making its way across the lawn?

I snuck up to grab a few happy pics with my handy Sony Cybershot.

Looks like he/she was mid-feed when I called the photo session!

Amazing critters. A little bit of Jurassic Park in the burbs

Any reptilian experts here at IIS able to identify it? Looks like some type of frill neck.

Looks like he was injoying the sun. I wish a similar creatures would venture into my backyard, but I don't think that is going to happen here.
