Tropical Bird

Saw this bird in Cairns, I expect they're fairly common can anyone identify.

It's a rainforest pigeon, but I can't remember the name. They are fairly common. Someone is bound to know what the species is....

A beautiful portrait with lovely colours and a nice “over the shoulder” expression!

Hmm, the closest match we could find in our bird book was a “Barbary Dove”?
