Hi again everyone,
This image was done a few weeks ago and only have just got around to finishing it off.
Wanted to try something different so decided to do some of that dark dusty stuff.
Barnard 72 is a dark nebulae in
Ophiuchus that resembles a snake, and thought that should make a interesting target. Also in the image is Barnard 68 and 69 which are quiet dense little clouds of dust... something I havn`t seen many closeups before. The whole area seems laced with dust reddening the stars behind it..
Image is 20 x 6 min with modded 20D and 6" f/5.6 scope. Seeing was average but PHD guided well and gave me nice stars..

Stacked in DSS and all other fiddling done in PS..
Little bit longer subs would have been better but I think it came out not too bad at all!..

Image size around 400ks and is around a 60% crop that has been resized by 50% to post. Still needed heaps of compression to get it to this size..
cheers and thanks for looking!...
