Technicolour Trifid!

Hello group,

With Jase & Fred's prompting, I figured, what the heck, layer in some H-Alpha (from Last night), go the whole enchilada on the saturation...

Is the result....

Cheers
Peter

What was the Ha blend opacity Peter? Was expecting to see something more dramatic or constrasty (perception). Saturation looks on the mark compared to your earlier rendition of this target. Good stuff.

I only used the H-Alpha as a luminance layer for the core of the Trifid (now nicely resolved). That region glows so much in H-Alpha it actually reduced contrast when layered into the red....while I could play with some filtering, the result seems pleasing as is.

Good detail there Peter, and I must say, as usual, just the stars themselves are very entertaining here, sparkling colour all over the place, adds to the ambience.
