IceInSpace Outage - approx 9pm-11pm Sunday

Hi guys,

Please read the new announcement concerning the planned outage of the IceInSpace site and forums in the next day or two.

When the outage is over and the site has been upgraded, there'll be a new thread for your comments and feedback.

Sorry for any inconvenience while the upgrade is taking place.

Mike, from the lack of responses, I'd say that the guys reckon if they don't reply to this thread then it will simply go away! What the H*ll are we meant to do for two days?????? And what if my scope arrives and theres noone to tell, and what if theres a supernova in the sun and what if..............

The outage won't last for 2 days David, it will only be for 1-2 hours.. The 2 day range is the start time, i'm just not sure if it will be tomorrow or Monday..

Just have to finish the last of the colour scheme changes (again!)

been too busy redesigning colour schemes to think about important things like the map

The outage won't be until this afternoon/evening at the earliest, otherwise it will be Monday morning.

Did we have an 'outage' about a week ago? because I couldn't get in at all for 7 hours..

The outage is expected to begin around 9 or 10pm tonight, lasting 1-2 hours.

You'll know it's started when you get a maintenance page. You'll know it's finished when you wonder if you've come to the right place

Mike, if possible, and it's not too late, can a new section be added to the Forums.

Star Parties, Camps and Gatherings.

I don't think a lot of newbies (or some oldies) will expect to find out about such things in the spot they are currently listed: Space & Astronomy
