A Few Moon Pics - 30th March

I captured a couple of Moon images during the morning of the 30th. The seeing was very averrage but the Moon was directly overhead at the time. I wanted to use the 2x Barlow but was shocked to find a large amount of dust on the lens.

I have no idea how it got there. I am always careful with putting on the caps and placing them back into the case.

I was just about to make a mosiac but decided not to, maybe another time.

Lots of detail Matt but they look a little dark on my monitor. Second one is my favorite.

Thanks guys,

Peter, it looks good on my moniter!

It's hard to know exactly what the right brightness etc. will be because my lappy's screen is much different to my desktop's moniter. I'll have to adjust them.

Nice shots, I particularly like the Copernicus. I like the lighting, but I think I have a fondness for the darker Lunar images.

Thanks Stephen,

I guess it is personal preference how you like you images to look. I really dislike moon images being too bright loosing contrast.

I ran the images through PS and adjusted the levels.

Hope these are better than the first ones.
