just got out.. clear night but close to full moon and a fair bit of fog where i am meant it was a bit of a challenge. My goal of the night was too see the GRS.. and.. after abit of 'bobbing and weaving'.. I GOT IT!!! i could just make it out with the 9mm.. i tiny beige spot near the second dark band. it was AWESOME! I found it did take a fair bit of moving my eye around to get my eye to focus on it.. and my eye seemed to water up too at times

but it was awesome. I've just ordered a barlow and a 15mm eyepiece.. working with 2 eyepieces is getting abit tiresome. They're just GSO's but they'll do me for the time being, gotto start somewhere. I think after that a telrad might be the way to go.. as even though i'm getting used to it slowly.. upside down and back to front on the finder takes some getting used to.
