You live in a very beautiful part of the world Kieken. It looks so different from here. though some of it looks very much like parts of New Zealand. Everything so green and mossy. And hot during spring (Hot, that's not hot. When you can fry an egg on the footpath, that's getting hot )

Hi Kieken, The others have already said it, 'What a beautiful part of the world you live in'. I can only make 1 observation tho. Your thermometer wouldn't be much good 'down under'. It only reads to + 50degs C. Do you fish in the 'Tanktrap' or the lake?
Regards, L.

Believe me, the normal temperature is between 16 and 20 degrees, so this is hot for us .

Belgium is green but not as green as NZ. You will notice that in the next series. With +300 people/km² it's hard to keep everything like it was.

@RAJAH235: I used to fish there. It are nice places, quiet and a lot of fish (big ones, well, for us ). To bad I lost my equipment a couple of years ago .

BTW, our thermometer is showing a nice 35°C. And that while I have to study for my exams .

Kieken, Now that's getting nearer to our temps. How long does it usually stay that warm? 1 mth/2mths? How did you loose your fishing gear? L.

The normal temperature here during the summer is 25°C or something like that. Not to hot . Temperatures above or around 30 are just for short periods (about 1 week, sometimes a bit longer).

My fishinggear was lost during a fight with my grandparents. At the end it was something good since it gave me more time and money for my telescope and other things related to the skies .
