Lovely sunset from my backyard tonight.

Auto mode in Canon 400D. The single pic was cropped slightly & resized in PS. The panorama was stitched with Serif Panorama Plus 1 (3 photos) & cropped & resized in PS CS2.

Thanks all - it was a pretty special sight, watching it change from a flaming orange to a deep red, and the rays gradually appear. These shots were from towards the end.
