WyoRock focusers

FYI - I was just looking around for long-travel crayford-style focuser for a refractor I'm going to build and came across these billet aluminium focusers out of the USA. They look very nice and are reasonably priced. Best of all they do a refractor version that has 4" or travel - nice! I have not seen them mentioned on IIS before - hence the post.

Cheers

"Billet machined from 6061 T 6 aircraft quality aluminum"

I thought Aircraft grade was 7075?

Still a very nice set of focusers there, nicely machined.

7075 has a higher tensile strength apparently, but is more prone to cracking than 6061, which is more flexible. 6061 is also meant to be more corrosion resistant I believe.

Dunno!
