IC4628 Nebula in Scorpius

G'day all,Here's a favourite imaging object for me - I'm yet to get the perfect shot of this object, but this one is better than the last :-)Better image here: http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/IC4628.html60 min. exposure (20 x 3-minute sub-frames) @ ISO400.Image taken with a modified Canon 300D DSLR mounted at prime focus ofa 12" f/5 newtonian telescope with 2" Baader Coma Corrector and2" UV/IR Rejection filter.Autoguided on a Losmandy Gemini G-11 equatorial head and custom Southern Cross observatory pier using a SBIG 402 CCD/guiderat prime focus of a 4.5" f/9 newtonian guidescope.

A lovely image Paul. To me it has nice detail and colour and the stars are spot on.

I enjoyed all your images posted Paul. They contain some nice detail, though I feel the colours are too heavily saturated (personal opinion) which detracts the great resolution/contrast you've obtained with your set up. Perhaps the colours would hold if the data was stretched further, I'm not sure without trying this out.
