Couple of DVD's

Got a couple of new DVD's yesterday.

Asteroids: deadly impact and also Space Odyssey: voyage to the planets.

Watched the Asteroids one, which is pretty good and am about to watch the space odyssey one. I will let you know what I think of it.

Also got the season 1 box collection of Star trek enterprise and Blade trinity. Watched Blade and was a little disappointed in the story line. Graphics were good though.

Have not started to watch enterprise on DVd yet, but I have seen most of the episodes, so I will wait for a cloudy night and do a couple then.

Sounds good! I'm just catching up on the old star wars movies again, to get it fresh in my mind before seeing "Revenge of the Sith".

I'm itching to watch "Band of Brothers" again - the TV series was phenominal (in my mind, at least) so I bought the DVD set (6 DVD's). Haven't had a chance to watch it again, but really really want to, when I get time.

Mike I got all the Star Wars films on DVD, just waiting for the final installment to have the complete collection. I won't be going to the cinema's to see the final movie. I will wait for the DVD. I now prefer to watch movies through digital devices.

If you like band of brothers I can thoroughly recommend saving private ryan. Great movie, I am sure that you already have seen it though.

I am buying my way through the Star Trek Collectors Series. Very enjoyable especially the 2nd series. Managed to purchase Extended DVD editons(without the appendix discs)of the first 2 Lord of the ring movies the other day to compliment the full box Return of the King previously purchased in January for my birthday.

Yes heaps of stuff to get through on cloudy nights

Is the extended version of the Return of the King better than the cinematic version?
