Interesting solar viewing this morning.

If you have a PST, I'd suggest making some time to have a look today. There has been some great activity around the limbs today. A huge mushrooming prominance and multiple straight flares sticking out like teeth on a comb. The seeing is lousy up here but it was still worth a look. The full disk view of the sun was stunning especially through the double stack.

If you've not seen through a PST or any other Ha solar scope before, see if you can find someone in your area that has one. It beats the ol' solar film and thousand oaks filters hands down

Hi Paul

Nice report - I'll have to do extra housework and cooking to prepare the way for getting funds released, from treasury, to purchase a PST.

Cheers

Dennis

Will do Ron. Next overnighter we'll get up in the morning and check it out.

Come on Dennis your draggin' the chain a bit here. It would be just about the only astronomica piece of equipment you would have, wouldn't it.

I'll make sure I bring it to Duckadang.
