Goods not recieved

Hi,

I’ve sold a number of items on ice unfortunately I’m very sick. Anyone who’s not recieved their items please email me

@ vivatheshire@gmail.com

Please include a photo of your ice purchase.

I’m having a friend do the postage so it’s vitally important that details are accurate.
Please excuse this delay and huge inconvenience I’ve a degenerative disorder and I’ve no control over it, hence someone else doing the postage.

Again, if you’ve not received your items please email and say what you’ve bought

Thank you

David Duffy

I would suggest removing everything after the OP as they are irrelevant.

Guys, I'm waiting for drylander (Peter) to log on again and give him a chance to explain, that's why I haven't deleted anything.
He's been a long-time member, so I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt.
It could've very well been an innocent misunderstanding on his part thinking the post was made in jest.

Let's wait for an explanation first.

I took it as "funny"... mainly cause I could imagine finding myself in a similar situation where I need help to remember stuff...

I am sure that would be where Pete was coming from.

Andrew ( RB) has chosen a wise stand.

"Please include a photo of your ice purchase." I assumed that this was the amusing remark. The drug squad might be watching.
I also found it amusing. What's the problem?

Michael.

Thank you Michael and Alex. At least some people still have a funny bone.
Lighten up and smell the roses people ice is a common problem and the post while serious shows not all are aware of the problem. I never try to cause dissent.

I have a somewhat warped sense of humour, and given that context it could be seen as amusing, but due to the nature of the OP I didn't look for anything clever, I simply took it at face value (and pray I'm never in that situation).

I'm very disappointed in the fact that you, knowing that the post was serious, chose to highlight another serious problem,
namely "ice addiction" by laughing at it and then having the audacity to assume that because we didn't find it funny, we weren't aware of this very serious social problem.

I fail to see your logic in any of this.
I think a temporary ban is fitting to illustrate how we, on Ice In Space, feel other members should be treated when they are facing serious health issues.

I did not think any thing more than that "ice purchase" was short hand for a transaction to purchase astro equipment...but if I had I must confess I would have laughted at it as being a slip up perhaps as a knee jerk reaction without expending deeper thought to the apparent drug addiction issue .... the main thing is the matter is cleared up now and hopefully everyone is happy ... justice must not only be done but appear to have been done ... well done Andrew (RB) for letting time pass so we could find out more about the matter.

David (OP) is a friend, and has some very serious health issues that have resulted that his family is having issues correlating the buyers to
the items. I will be helping him to despatch the goods, but I need to find and identify the items and buyers of those items on David's behalf. This is in progress.
Your patience is much appreciated, everyone will get their goods, we are working on it.
If you have any questions, please email David at vivatheshire@gmail.com or me at greg@aussiesky.net and we will get back to you ASAP.

My God, look my name up… Hodur, a blind God associated with night and darkness. Why did I choose that handle, I’m legally blind. In addition I’m in a state of advanced neurological decay, my hands shake like leaves.
I clearly state on my advert, I’m unwell.. that’s an understatement meeting my Neuro on Friday I’m now in plallitive care, there’s no recovery.
That my condition has given rise to merriment, my advice is to spread the wit further and kick the next blind person you see.
My sincere and heart felt apologies too those I’ve caused inconvenience, I’m sincerely sorry. I thought provision had been made via posting here and explaining I’d some issues in getting goods out.
Quite frankly, I’m not angry, I’m disappointed in those who think it humorous to ridicule the sick.
Again, all the goods will travel, or if for some reason I’ve really stuffed things up, cash refunds.

Our thoughts are with you David.

I've given drylander a two-month ban.
If anyone else finds it funny let me know.

Many thanks, iceinspace is outstanding and vicariously I get to travel many journeys, I’m grateful. Thanks for your assistance and I’m working towards having everything sorted Tuesday/Wednesday this coming week.
Again my apologies for the inconvenience I’ve. caused, it was not my intent.

Cheers
