14th Oct Sunspots

14th Oct. After a lot of rain in central Vic I almost gave up getting an image today. But a small, clear patch of sky came my way and I quickly set up my scope for an image of the sunspots. No time for a Halpha image.
These single exppsure shots were taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to an 81 mm WO refractor with Herschel wedge at 540 nm.
Not many sunspots but at least it shows what there was.
A couple of new spots (unnumbered) and marked with n.
Thanks for viewing.

You did extremely well getting those shots today!!
We simply were not brave enough, as there were a couple of sunny breaks but when the next storm front hit, it hit with ferocity. It looks like things have quietened off a bit again. Even the far-side image on-line doesn't show much incoming
