Here's a quick grab of Venus, taken after observing Venus with the 8" dob in excellent conditions this morning. I had debated whether to get the Cass set up but decided against it. The detail captured with the dob at prime focus suggests that wasn't a smart move. The cassegrain would have given 2x the image scale. Oh well, the EP view was great so that's something.
