It does seem pricey. You can buy a new GSO 10" f12 Truss Classical Cassegrain for $4k AUD ex Sydney.The CC is a coma free design.

1k is only the start price, reserve unknown. But yes, it might turn out to be a bargain considering its pedigree. But 15k would buy a lot more scope than this, even on new gear.
