NII in the Coal Sack Mosaic

Just a quickie to see how much dim NII nebulosity I could record with no bright bits to swamp the faint signal.

Two panels each 13x32min exposure with 3nm NII at 600mm F3. FoV 6.0 x 3.5 degrees.

There are some interesting nebulae and dark dust bits. I have never seen before.

There’s quite a lot of signal in the area Bert.
