Thanks, Mike! That's NGC 7549. NGC 7550, the bright elliptical has some nice, subtle structure in the outer halo too. I might try pushing the faint stuff a little harder in a repro...

Superb fov in the high res. That little hooked face on is pretty cool. Lot of dust around indeed. Great star colors too.

Exquisitely beautiful, Rick (and team). Everything about this image is delicious.

Even though you've got 37 hours of data, you've not made the mistake of trying to give equal weight to every photon and every pixel; you've concentrated on showing the beauty of the (very many) main players. Wonderful!

Best,
MnT

Thanks, M&T! There's still time for me to abuse and misuse those photons in a repro

That's really awesome Rick, beautiful images, and drizzled as well, must be some large sub-exposure file sizes there.

Thanks, Bill. Fortunately, I have a new processing computer and it makes short work of drizzling lots of large subs!

Thanks, Joel. We're hoping to get a few more less common targets this time around.

Love the tweak Rick, but there’s something wrong with the pointy stars

Must have been a long week, Dunk. They look OK to me? Maybe tomorrow I'll figure out what you meant...

Thanks, Chris. I'm spending less time surfing the interwebs while waiting for PI Thanks for the heads up on the copyright message too.
