WO 66ED Semi-APO Petzval F6 - cheap !

Selling real cheap - because the objective lens has lost its outer coating - tho it doesN't make much if any difference that I can see ! I cleaned the coating off with Lens cleaner fluid as when I bought it there was only 2/3rds of the coating on it anyway !

This scope is very sharp as pics I took this evening show, (I'll add these photos to 2nd post) tho there is evidence of a thin tho neat 'blue halo on very bright stars which can be eradicated through processing or a halo reduction filter, tho an added filter tends to take blue out of other parts of image !

Honestly, apart from this, the scope is in good condition, good diffraction rings in airy disc and very sharp !
It may also serve as quite a 'spunky' guide scope or a nice telephoto lens, which I have taken some quality 'surfing' photo's with it !
The lost coating doesn't seem to hinder terrestrial photog in my honest opinion !

Comes with its original WO travel bag - has two speed focuser and their classic retracting dew shield - Also has a totally keool application of a fully rotatable focusing assembly which is great for composing wide field astro images !

Asking only $200 + postage
