Cowra Stargazers - Saturday 2 April?

Any stargazers in or near Cowra, NSW interested in meeting for an evening of sky-peering on Saturday 2 April (I'm just visiting, but bringing my travel scope)? Any advice on good sites around the town would be appreciated even if you can't join me.

Hi Tim,

Apologies, we were actually out there on the 2nd (31st to 8th) but I only saw your post today!

Hope you did take it and got to look up; we took our 6" Orion StarBlast table-top Dob, and were camping at Wyangala Waters (Dam). We were treated to the blackest and most glorious of star-filled skies!

Wyangala is about 30 minutes south from Cowra, and is a great place to camp.
