Mar 7th Prominence

This prominence was seen on the Sun's NW limb on March 7th. This single exposure image was taken thru a Lunt 100 scope (Ha) using a Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing. John W.

Fabulous! Looks a little like a 1950's rocket has landed.
Hard to grasp the power of this sort of thing.
