Again I reprocess the Swan this time with 16 hours and 40 minutes worth of data with 6h 40m Lum and 1h 30m each RGB and 5h 40m of Hydrogen Alpha added.
I have blended Lum data on top of Hyd Alpha with the opacity set to 50% and the Hydrogen Alpha and Red (on top) at 50%. Then processed to the best of my ability using Photoshop. I know I have dark halos around some of my stars so any advice welcome. Taken using W/O Flt 110 on Astrophysics 1100 with SBIG 8300 self guiding.
That looks pretty good, Mark. I'd be trying to crank up some of the star colours (some nice yellows and blues if the data supports it) to try to balance the redness of the Swan a little. You might be able to tease a bit more variation in colour out of the nebulosity too, perhaps with some tweaking of the a* and b* curves in LAB mode.
