The downsizing of my equipment continues and this is my favourite grab and go mount and is the original yolk and craddle conception designed by Al Nagler.
Considered in many reviews to be the best of the Televue mounts it is superb for widefield observing. Moreover, if people would read and follow the instructions for the mount after initially being properly balanced these mounts are also excellent for high magnification (eg planetary) observing as well.
The entire mount is surprisingly light yet strong and I have used it without a hitch with a 90mm Refractor and 31mm Nagler. I have also used it routinely at 200x magnification without any probelms.
