My Plan

This is Lake Barrington and Mt Roland in North-West Tasmania.
(Barrington had it's 15mins of fame during the Sydney Olympics when it was used for the rowing).
It is directly south (magnetic) from this location sooooo...
If I can line up a 1/4 moon to light the foreground and a nice strong aurora and clear skies then I am thinking it will make a nice photo.
Hope u enjoy it as it is anyway. It's a beautiful part of Oz

Most places in Tassie are beautiful. If I could get a well-paying, stable job down there, I'd move tomorrow.

Looking forward to the nightscape/aurora shot.

Thx guys
Steven - Thats a nice photo!
Yep like that only from a different vantage. Get a lot taking the pics from around Latrobe and Sheffield so I want to go with something else and get close enough to get some decent craggy detail in the Mountain.
And I am hoping the location will see the Aurora arcing over the Mt. Almost following the mountains profile.
I live in hope.
