Jove Nov 5th in good seeing for the alt

Hi All,

Imaged Jupiter this morning in quite good conditions for the alt.
Have excellent coverage of the turbulence following the GRS in the SEB, this region of the NEB is also quite spectacular. There is also a nice formation of tiny white ovals lined up across the SSTB.

Have 3 RGB's captured at approx 20 min intervals along with 4 742nm IR data sets also at approx 20 min intervals. Have attached one of the IR & RGB data sets along with animations using all of the data.

Regards
Trevor

Great work Trevor! Is it my imagination, or is the GRS actually getting more red again?

Thanks Laurie, yep the GRS is redder than last apparition.

Thanks Dean, the Hill has been a pretty reliable spot for planetary imaging for many years. This year has been a bit lean but still I have managed to upload more than 300 Saturn data sets for this last apparition to PVOL, ALPO & the BAA.

Thanks Mark, I am sure you will enjoy the flexibility the 1280x960 pixels provide. I use Castrator, AutoStakkert, RS6, WinJUPOS, Astra Image Pro & CS4.
