1P/Halley, Bright Orionid 22nd October

Despite the bright Moon and clouds I thought I'd set up the camera for video capture of any Orionids this morning. I only managed one out of about 3 hrs recording, and even then it was almost off the frame of the 24mm lens on my Canon EOS 600D. Shot at 4 frames/sec using the Magic Lantern firmware. Estimated at mag -5 or brighter.

Individual frames shown and then a Startrails stack. There is a satellite also making its way through the field.

Thanks for looking,

Tom
