September Prawn Nebula from Leyburn

Went to Leyburn last month for a second bite at the astro-imaging cherry for the year (What you imaged from a dark site that was NOT the Astrofest? Yes I did!) Part of the data I captured was the Horsehead region to add to the data from the Astrofest. I'll post that image one day when I'm happy (happier?) with it.

I also imaged the Prawn Nebula and finally gotten round to processing.
NEQ6, Williams Optics 110 Megrez, WO type 2 0.8x field flattener, fl 524mm, Modded Canon 450D, 15 x 300 sec (total time on target 75 minutes) 1600 ISO, darks and flats. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, processed in PixInsight, layer masks with Photoshop CS5.

Hoping to get more data this weekend (THREE astro-imaging sessions in a calendar year??!!)

Thanks Ross, Jeanette, Dave, Marc, David, and Rick. I was grabbing my chance to image this area and I was only able to grab 75 minutes before it was too low. Actually it was a bit too low when I finished the run but it seemed to pull up well.

A great result for 75mins Tony. Should be stoked with that. Looking forward to seeing this develop when you get the opportunity to add more data to it. Well done.
