Nice seeing 10AM 19th April 2013

Time to try to perfect on (or try! ) what I now know about this Solar imaging lark! Nice seeing certainly helps with that fine detail.

PST/DMK21/6 pane mosaic for disc 6 panes for proms.

Love the colour one, John. Some nice prominences there, too

Beautiful John. Some of the best processing I've seen from PST's, that usually suffer from hotspots etc.

Thanks chaps.

Mike it's taken a few weeks to finely tune that PST to the best of it's ability as well as getting the mosaic panes with the right amount of overlap to totally kill these gradients. The PST has a bad name for this but I'm determined to right that wrong rumour Sure, perhaps there are dud ones that simply won't tune in but then it's up to the buyer to send the thing back if necessary..

Anyway, it's been a nice Solar journey so far! Loving it.

Just thought I'd stick that colour final through Astraimage 2.5MAX & see what happened. 1 point down on gamma 1 point up on contrast 2 points of unsharpmask.
