A walk in the park.

G'day folks!

I went for a much anticipated walk at Tidbinbilla today. Praise Jesus there is a lot of wildlife in Canberra! I walked out with more shots I'm happy with than ever before.

A couple of shots here are from work from the top of our mobile crane-towers in the tree canopies.

Animals included:
Red-bellied black snake.
Platypus.
Grey Fantail.
Terrapin, (Turtle).
A very very tiny bunny. Unusual colour around here. Most are grey and white.
A magpie with Camelback mountain in the background.
Pink and Grey Galah.
Noisy Minah.

Enjoy the pictures!

I like the Terrapin very much - just checking you out. I'm heading to the chain of ponds near home, when it cools down. Because water levels are low there is a plethora of birds, making the most of the shallow pools, that we would not ordinarily see. Terrapin here and there, at times.

Another beautiful collection of pictures there, Baz. That magpie shot is quintessential Australiana, I reckon. Thanks for sharing.

Great shots Baz. Your photos are always first class and very well done. Love the bokeh with that lens.

A platypus? Geez, I've been bushwalking many times and I've never seen one, you lucked out there.

Greg.
