One strike from the NT

Hi Guys,

This year in the NT seems very slow, with regard to the storms and great lightning shows, however last night there was a storm over the Darwin area and this was captured some 17 kilometers distance from Berrimah.

I was only able to capture a single strike at 2.30am Sat morning

The signs of good things to come. hope you like it

Leon

Thanks H, usually they strike straight down, but that night most were striking horizontal, very impressive to watch.

Wow, wonderful shot you've got there. I always enjoy a good thunderstorm.
Though we had some pretty serious weather here in Auckland just the other day. Two tornadoes left 3 dead and some 150 homes uninhabitable
