Got my 7mm Pentax today!

Looks great, built solid. Cloud tonight (of course). Can't wait to try it out!

Once you get used to the eye relief, shorter ER eyepieces will bug you

Watch the buy/sell forum for a 14mm Meade UWA
Watch Mike end up with a set of Pentaxs

haha not a chance

The ER on the 14mm Meade doesn't concern me at all - I don't need glasses and my eyesight (so far) is still pretty good, even though I stare at computer screens for 12+ hours a day.

Good stuff, Mike. I'm sure you'll love it. Looking forward to your thoughts/comments.

I'm barely holding off purchasing one myself, so I'm expecting your comments will be the clincher.

That way I can blame you for further astro expenditure!

Iceman. I read a book the other day about eyestrain while reading computer screens. You need to set an alarm that goes off about every 7 minutes. When it goes off simply look up to the ceiling or out the window and allow your eyes to focus. Otherwise you could be doing damage.
